Straddling both Europe and Asia and having existed at the crossroads of civilisation for millennia, a Turkey yacht charter offers sailors a rich cultural experience. Explore the many archaeological sites only accessible by boat and be charmed by the warm, welcoming, and often humorous people themselves ("buy from me, I'm cheaper than Primark!"). Throw in a long hot summer season with lovely sailing breezes, stunning clear waters, and a few surprises along the way, such as thermal mud baths and loggerhead turtles - Turkey is truly a world class sailing destination.

Our focus is on curating exceptional luxury yacht charters for every guest, based on their unique preferences and characteristics. Every client is different, and so are our luxury holidays.
All our luxury sailing holidays are curated by charter experts who build an amazing holiday experience around the most important factor. You!
We have an unwavering focus on quality. We define quality as understanding your expectations and doing everything we can do to beat them.
With our outstanding Trustpilot ratings and ABTA and ATOL bonding, we are demonstrably trusted and reliable for 1000s of guests every year.
We have several bases across Turkey, depending on which sailing area you wish to sail. In the Bay of Fethiye, our most popular destination, our bases are in Fethiye and Gocek. We also have boats in Marmaris and Orhaniye, which are perfectly located to enjoy Bozburun, Datca and Selimiye. Finally, we do also have a small number of boats from Bodrum, on request.
Dalaman airport is the primary airport for yacht charters in Turkey (other than Bodrum) and is well connected to most regional airports in the UK. Gocek and Fethiye are close to Dalaman, 20 mins and 40s respectively, while Marmaris and Orhaniye are over 90 minutes from the airport. Do look out for flight times from the UK, which tend to arrive late on Saturdays. You may be better served flying in on Friday.
The summer season is long hot and dry. During May and October expect temperatures already into the mid-20s, while during August temperatures average in the mid-30s. Winds are generally light in the morning, building through the day into a nice breeze normally between 8 to 12 knots with gusts up to 18 knots. You will not suffer any real swell from these winds.
Sailors in Turkey are unlikely to come across mooring fees. If you avoid the larger towns, such as Gocek and Fethiye, almost all locations are free of charge with the locals only requesting you eat in their restaurant should you take advantage of a small village pier.
Charterers in Turkey need a minimum of an RYA Day Skipper or ICC (International Certificate of Competence). If you are in any doubt, please contact Seamaster and we will advise you or even get pre-approval.
